Since my first post about the Surface Pro 3 (SP3), I have received lots of thoughtful questions from my readers. The purpose of this post is to answer the question: "The Surface Pro 3, what is it good for? Why is it better than say, a desktop, laptop, or iPad?" My response? Absolutely everything.
Please remember, I do not own an SP3 myself, but I am writing based on research and using the one on display at Best Buy. If you are interested in checking one out, head up to your local Best Buy or Microsoft Store. In my experience, the sales people are super nice and will answer all your questions.
Below I summarize how the nursing student, professor, and practicing clinician can use the SP3. If you want to skip this whole post, here is a summary:
What is it good for? It's portable, powerful, and unique. Its small, lightweight, and damage-resistant. It has top-of-the-line hardware making it as powerful as a regular laptop and desktop, while remaining as convenient as a tablet. And, it has a touch screen with a one-of-a-kind stylus pen.
