Hey everyone! I recently started a new job at this innovative education company called MedBridge located in Seattle, WA. MedBridge currently produces healthcare provider education tools for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists.
What is incredibly unique about MedBridge, is that (#1) they produce their own content and (#2) they not only create accredited continuing education, they also develop clinical reference tools and patient education resources. Their main mission is improved patient outcomes through educating the clinician and helping the clinician educate their patients.
So here is where YOU come in. I was hired to spear-head their new nursing division, and I am looking to build up a great team to help me. Who better than a group of passionate, intelligent, experienced, ambitious, creative nurses? Keep reading to learn more and don't hesitate to email me with your thoughts, hesitations, questions, and concerns.
Give me more details Melissa!
Well, first things first. Are you tired of working in a hospital or clinic with no windows? This would be your new office building:
MedBridge is a fairly small (<50 employees), smart-up tech company located on Lake Union in Seattle, Washington. They employ a a variety of professionals: business operations, marketing, patient education, design, and software development. On a daily basis, I have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with engineers, executives, marketers, videographers, user-interface designers, 3D motion artists, and graphic designers.
My position is super exciting. Some information must remain private, but over all, here is a list of my responsibilities:
I am specifically interested in finding some individuals with a nursing background to add to my team. I truly believe your academic and experiential knowledge can help build a unique and powerful education system that revolutionizes the largest, most trusted healthcare profession.
If this sounds interesting to you, please email me and let me know. I will be happy to confidentially answer your questions or concerns and help you through the application process. You can also go directly to the MedBridge Career's webpage and browse the open positions. When submitting your application, make sure you mention me by name (Melissa DeCapua) so that I can be an advocate for you!
Current open positions on the nursing team include:
Don't worry if those titles sound somewhat confusing or overwhelming. Please email me and we can figure out which one is best for you based on your interests and background.
By the way, upon hire you get your very own sleek new laptop computer loaded with the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite! Pretty awesome. We also have a lot of fun at MedBridge including free lunches, snacks, and Friday beer o' clock.
But honestly, the best part about working here (especially in the new nursing division) is that your ideas will be heard, and you have a very observable impact on the end product. You will be able to effect change at a massive scale and directly affect patient outcomes.
Please, even if you have only a tiny bit of interest, email me and we can talk (privately) about your concerns and hesitations. I know there are nurses out there who will be perfect for this opportunity!
